A.J. Ladwig Spins Gem in Erie's 6-4 Win

The SeaWolves added two more runs in the bottom of the second inning.
Will Maddox ripped a double down the right field line to push Paredes in to score on McCasland in the bottom of the fourth inning to propel Erie ahead 4-0.
Richmond started to creep back on Erie in the 7th inning.
19-year-old Isaac Paredes punched a ball into left field in the bottom of the 7th, driving in two runs on a double to make it 6-1.
The wheels began to slide off for Erie in the top of the 8th.
John Schreiber tossed a scoreless ninth, racking up his 14th save for Erie and ending the game 6-4.
Ladwig (2-0) pitched 7.0 IP for Erie, allowing one unearned run on six hits and one walk and six strikeouts. McCasland (3-3) received the loss after allowing four runs, three earned in three innings of work on five hits.
