- Southern League History: With 8,500 in attendance, the 2018 installment is the second-most attended Southern League All-Star Game in modern league history, behind only the 2013 game in Jacksonville, which drew 9, 373 fans.
- Birmingham History: The first All-Star Game at Regions Field outdrew the 2009 Southern League All-Star Game at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium. The last time Birmingham hosted the game, 7,129 were in attendance as the North topped the South 7-0.
- Regions Field Sellout: Tonight's game marks the 44th sellout in the six-year history of Regions Field, and the fourth of the 2018 season for the Birmingham Barons.
