Oliver Jaskie started on the mound for the Frogs, striking out three of the first five batters he faced. Onil Pena blasted a homerun to lead off the second inning, 1-0.
In the third inning, Jaskie collected another two strikeouts (5) to sit the Indians down in order. His three-hitless innings of work put the Frogs in great shape going into the fourth inning. David Hesslink relieved Jaskie striking out two of the four batters he faced. Hesslink in the fifth inning gave up a solo homerun to Matt Whatley, 2-1.
Ronald Rosario lead off the bottom of the seventh with a homer over the center field fence to extend the Sox lead, 3-1.
With two outs in the ninth inning, relief pitcher Michael Rivera gave up a grand slam which gave the Indians a three-run lead, 6-3.
Rosario and Johnny Adams both doubled in the bottom half, scoring two runs for the Sox, 6-5. With two outs and two runners on base, David Banuelos hit a fly out for the last out of the game. Everett lost their fifth straight to Spokane, 6-5.
