Eugene, OR - Jheyson Caraballo, Ulises Perez and David Ellingson combined on an eight-hit shutout as the Everett AquaSox blanked the Eugene Emeralds, 1-0, before a sell out crowd of 5,021 at PK Park.

Eugene, OR - Jheyson Caraballo, Ulises Perez and David Ellingson combined on an eight-hit shutout as the Everett AquaSox blanked the Eugene Emeralds, 1-0, before a sell out crowd of 5,021 at PK Park.

It was Everett's second shutout win of the season - both have come on the road. The AquaSox won the series in Eugene, 3-2, and finished the eight-game road trip, 4-4.
The only run of the game came on a home run by Nick Rodriguez leading off the top of the fifth inning. It was his second homer of the season.
Caraballo (3-0) allowed leadoff singles in each of the first five innings. He allowed seven hits, walked one and struck out four. Eugene was 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position.
Perez worked two hitless innings and walked one. Ellingson pitched the ninth for his first save of the season.
