Aquino Dominant as Baysox Top Sea Dogs, 7-1
PORTLAND, ME - LHP Jayson Aquino did not allow an earned run over six plus innings and the Bowie Baysox (26-28) took the series opener from the Portland Sea Dogs (20-36) by a score of 7-1 on Tuesday night at Hadlock Field in Portland.

Aquino (3-2) gave up one run (none earned) on two hits while walking two and fanning six in his six plus innings of work. LHP
Trailing 4-0, Portland had runners at first and second with nobody out in the seventh and Gonzalez came on in relief of Aquino to limit the damage to one run.
Aquino has allowed just one earned run in his last 13.0 IP.
In the top of the second, a single and a pair of walks loaded the bases with two outs before
Portland had runners at second and third with one out in the third, but Aquino fanned
Jimenez (1-4) gave up four runs on seven hits to go along with three walks and four strikeouts in 6.0 IP.
Bowie plated three in the ninth to make it a 7-1 game in favor of the visitors. A walk and a double put two men on before a wild pitch charged to RHP
All three runs were charged to McAvoy (0.0 IP, H, 3 R, 2 ER, 3 BB).
