North Little Rock, AR—The Arkansas Travelers spoiled a no-hit and shutout bid by the Northwest Arkansas Naturals in the ninth inning last night but came up just short in their rally, falling by a 3-1 final score. The Travs got a leadoff hit, their first of the night, from Leo Rivas to start the ninth and scored their only run with two out in the inning. Naturals starter Chandler Champlain fired six no-hit innings and earned the win. Emerson Hancock was the hard luck loser allowing just one run while matching his career high in innings pitched with seven.

* The Naturals scored on a double steal with two out in the opening inning and never trailed in the game.

* Alberto Rodriguez doubled to get the Travs on the board with two out in the ninth. Isiah Gilliam followed with a walk to bring the winning run to the plate but the game ended on a strikeout.
