Banana Ball is coming back to Louisville Slugger Field in 2027, as the Texas Tailgaters and Indianapolis Clowns will face off in a two-game series from Friday, July 9 through Saturday, July 10.

The two-game event will bring Banana Ball’s unique blend of baseball and entertainment back to downtown Louisville. Created by the Savannah Bananas, Banana Ball is a fast-paced version of baseball featuring 11 unique rules designed to maximize entertainment and fan interaction. The game features a two-hour time limit, a point-per-inning scoring system, and unconventional rules, including the ability for fans to catch a foul ball for an out.

Banana Ball has previously visited Louisville Slugger Field, with the Savannah Bananas playing three sold-out games against the Party Animals in 2024 before the Party Animals battled the Visitors in 2025. The 2027 series will mark Banana Ball’s third visit to Louisville Slugger Field in four years.

The Texas Tailgaters debuted in 2025 as Banana Ball’s fourth team. Their identity is built around Texas culture, featuring country music, line dancing, barbecue, and their own band. The Tailgaters recently won the first Banana Bowl on October 10, defeating the Savannah Bananas at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.

The Indianapolis Clowns joined the Banana Ball Championship League in 2026. Their identity is rooted in baseball history, paying tribute to the historic Indianapolis Clowns, a Negro League barnstorming franchise whose former players included Satchel Paige, Hank Aaron, and Toni Stone.

Tickets to the Banana Ball games at Louisville Slugger Field are available exclusively through Banana Ball’s official ticketing platform, with full information available at the frequently asked questions below.

TICKET FAQ:

How can I get tickets?
Join the Ticket Lottery List before it closes on October 31st, 2026 at 11:59pm ET.  Joining the list doesn’t guarantee the opportunity to buy tickets. A random drawing will take place before the event for the chance to purchase available tickets. If you’re drawn, you’ll be communicated with directly as to your next steps.

You can find the Ticket Lottery List at BananaBall.com.

How much are tickets?

Our standard tickets start at $35 with Meet and Greet tickets starting at $125. No hidden fees, no tax, all bananas. Tickets for MLB and large venue games will start at $35 with Meet and Greet tickets starting at $150. We only sell tickets through our official lottery on BananaBall.com. Any tickets for sale outside of this platform are likely fraudulent.

I thought tickets were $35. Why am I finding some online for way more than that?

Our tickets start at $35 when you purchase them from our site. If you find some that are WAY MORE than $35, those tickets may have been bought from us and are now being sold on a third-party platform that we cannot control or are completely fake listings. These third-parties include StubHub, VividSeats Ticketmaster, etc. Occasionally, the venues hosting Banana Ball may sell a portion of the premium or suite tickets. Those tickets may be priced and sold exclusively by the venue. Please treat all tickets outside of Fans First Tickets with caution.

Warning: Tickets purchased through 3rd party sites are often fraudulent and will not be accepted. An overwhelming majority of people selling tickets on social media platforms are fraudulent. Please use extreme caution if you choose to go this route. Please know Banana Ball staff, cast, players, and coaches would never sell tickets through social media. We recommend reporting fake accounts impersonating others trying to do so.

Does when I join the Lottery List affect my chances at getting tickets?

The Lottery List is completely random so when you join the list will not affect your chance at getting tickets.
