BOWIE, Md.- On Friday afternoon, the Baltimore Orioles released the 2019 Bowie Baysox Break Camp roster, ahead of their season opener Thursday, April 4, at 6:30 p.m. against the Harrisburg Senators at FNB Field in Central Pennsylvania.
Among the members of the roster are seven of MLB.com's Top-30 Prospect List (featured on the full roster below), as well as 10 players who will be making their Bowie debut this season. Of those 10, four (Cristian Alvarado, Tyler Erwin, Preston Palmeiro, T.J. Nichting) will be making their Double-A debut, having been promoted from Class-A Advanced Frederick this offseason.
