The Bees opened the scoring for the third time in the last three games. Brennan Morgan led off the fourth inning with a walk and then moved to second on a Sam McDonnell single. After a lengthy battle, Juan Moreno smashed a doubled into the gap in left-center, unloading the bases, giving the Bees a 3-0 lead.
The Bees added to their lead in the fifth. Leonardo Rivas started the inning with a walk and stole second. After moving to third on a Richie Fecteau fly out, Rivas came into score when Brennan Morgan grounded out, extending the Bees' lead to 4-0. Sam McDonnell then blasted a triple off the wall in center. Brandon Sandoval then drove in the Bees' fifth run of the game with a double to center field.
