Belated St. Patrick's Day - Irish Heritage Celebration at FirstEnergy Park July 30th

LAKEWOOD, NJ - The Jersey Shore couldn't quite celebrate St. Patrick's Day with the same spirit and verve in March, but everyone can celebrate a belated St. Patrick's Day as part of the first Belated St. Patrick's Day event on Thursday, July 30th.

LAKEWOOD, NJ - The Jersey Shore couldn't quite celebrate St. Patrick's Day with the same spirit and verve in March, but everyone can celebrate a belated St. Patrick's Day as part of the first Belated St. Patrick's Day event on Thursday, July 30th.

Gates will open at 7:00 pm and the legendary Jersey Shore band The Snakes will play live from 7:15 pm until 9:30 pm in the BlueClaws Biergarten.

Each ticket is just $20 and only 450 tickets are available due to current state guidelines concerning outdoor gatherings. Each ticket includes the following:

  • Admission to the event.
  • Food package that includes Bangers and Mash.
  • Merchandise package that includes a BlueClaws cap and lapel pin.

"In 2020, we can celebrate St. Patrick's Day in July," said BlueClaws Team President Joe Ricciutti. "The Snakes are a great band and we're excited to welcome them back to the ballpark for what promises to be a fun night out for everyone."

The live music will come from the Biergarten down the left field line, which will be set up with socially distant picnic tables, as well as select high-top tables. The adjacent concourse around the ballpark will also include picnic tables and high-top tables. Stadium seating will also be open and the show will be streamed on the 1,857 square-foot video board as well for fans to enjoy from any location in FirstEnergy Park.

Additional food, including select Irish favorites including corned beef sliders will also be available for purchase along with hamburgers, hot dogs, and more.

In addition to The Snakes, the BlueClaws will have additional entertainment. This includes a "Driving Range" where fans can pitch golf balls onto the field at select targets. The BlueClaws will provide clubs that will be sanitized between uses.

This event has a rain date of Sunday, August 2nd.

Full safety and social distancing measures will be in place, including but not limited to:

  • Masks - fans must wear a mask at all times when roaming the concourse, waiting on line for food/drink, in the restrooms, in the Claws Cove, or any any time when fans cannot be at least six-feet apart from fans apart from their group. Masks are required at all times except when fans are at their own table / seating only with members in their group.
  • The Claws Cove will be open but limited to 15 patrons at any time. Masks must be worn while inside the Claws Cove.
  • Restrooms will operate at a reduced capacity and masks must be worn while in a restroom.
  • Tables and restrooms will be consistently cleaned and sanitized throughout the night.

The BlueClaws are the Jersey Shore's top stop for affordable, family entertainment.

In addition to this event, the team has already announced plans for four movie nights as part of the BlueClaws Summer Movie Series presented by RWJBarnabas Health, NJR Home Services, and Arm & Hammer. The series includes Moana on July 17th, Avengers: Endgame on July 31st, Jaws on August 14th, and Frozen 2 on August 21st.
