North Little Rock, AR—Down eight runs early, the Arkansas Travelers nearly completed a stupendous rally but fell 10-9 to the Frisco RoughRiders on Friday night at Dickey-Stephens Park. Arkansas never led in the game but cut the RoughRiders lead to one on two occasions including in the ninth inning after a Riley Unroe two-run home run. Neither team’s starting pitcher made it out of the second inning. Juan Mercedes took the loss for the Travs with Theo McDowell earning the win out of the Frisco bullpen and Antoine Kelly getting the save.

* Arkansas answered Frisco’s eight run second inning with six in the bottom half capped by a two-run single from Robbie Tenerowicz.
