Jersey Shore (17-28) snaps a two-game skid and levels their series with Brooklyn at one game apiece.
Trailing 4-0, the BlueClaws scored four times in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game. Jersey Shore got RBI singles from Uziel Viloria and Johan Rojas to make it 4-2. Ethan Wilson added another to make it 4-3 and a groundout from Nick Matera tied the game.
DJ Stewart doubled in a run to give Jersey Shore the lead in the sixth. Rojas, on a hit and run, then brought home two with a double to right-center. A SAC fly by Ethan Wilson made it 8-4.
Brooklyn opened the scoring in the third on a three-run double by JT Schwartz. Schwartz, who drove in four runs in the series opener on Tuesday, capped a rally that began with two outs and nobody on base.
Rowdy Jordan, making his first start of the series, hit solo homer, his second of the year, to give Brooklyn a 4-0 lead in the fifth inning.
BlueClaws starter Griff McGarry gave up four runs in five innings. Andrew Baker (2-0) threw a scoreless inning in relief.
In addition to Rojas' three hits, Jared Carr and Stewart had two apiece.
The teams continue their series on Thursday night at 7:05 pm. RHP Cristian Hernandez starts for Jersey Shore.
