BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Montgomery Biscuits (49-45, 11-14) ended its four-game skid after beating the Birmingham Barons (55-39, 17-8) by a 6-3 score on Friday night.

The win in the fourth game of the series goes to Yoniel Curet. It’s his first win since rejoining the Biscuits this season on July 3. Curet finished the night with four strikeouts over four scoreless innings.

Brayden Taylor managed a multi-hit night in the victory. With a single and a double, Taylor accounted for two RBI’s and scored a run himself.

Only Tres Barrera was able to match the efforts of Taylor. The 30-year-old scored a run in his third two-hit game of the season.

The fifth game of the series is on Saturday night at Regions Field. Brody Hopkins will make the start for Montgomery while Jake Palisch is slated to start for Birmingham. The first pitch is at 6:30 p.m. CT. Fans can listen on Jox 740, MLB At Bat, and Bally Live.
