ROME, GA - The BlueClaws rallied in the ninth for the second straight day, but after a comeback win on Saturday, they fell to Rome 7-6 in 11 innings on Sunday.

Keshawn Ogans ended the game with a SAC fly off Tristan Garnett after the BlueClaws could not score the inherited runner in the top of the 11th inning.

Rome took two of three in the series from Jersey Shore, who has dropped eight of their last 10 games.

Jersey Shore opened the scoring with three runs in the second inning. Wilfredo Flores doubled in two and Freylin Minyety drove in another on a fielder's choice.

The Braves responded to come back and take the lead. Kadon Morton tripled in a run in the third. Then Adam Zebrowski hit his ninth homer of the season in the third to tie the game. Rome took their first lead in the fourth on an RBI single from Geraldo Quintero.

Rome added another run in the fifth to extend their lead to 5-3.

That remained the score into the ninth when Leandro Pineda tied the game with a two-run home run. It was his sixth home run of the season and came one day after the BlueClaws scored five in the ninth when trailing 5-3 to rally and win the game.

Nick Ward singled in a run in the top of the 10th but Rome tied the game in the bottom of the 10th.

Pineda had three hits and scored twice, including his home run.

The BlueClaws are off on Monday and open a six-game series at Winston-Salem on Tuesday night.
