Home Run Party And Claws Roll to 8-4 Win on Friday
JERSEY SHORE, NJ - The BlueClaws hit four home runs including three in a 6-run fourth inning en route to a 8-4 win over Hudson Valley on Friday night at sold out ShoreTown Ballpark.

The BlueClaws four home runs - from Gabriel Rincones, Jr, Marcus Lee Sang, Leandro Pineda, and Rixon Wingrove - marked just the fourth time the BlueClaws have hit at least four homers in a game at ShoreTown Ballpark since 2005 (the team record is five set on June 6, 2021).
The BlueClaws (6-7/41-37) snapped a four game skid with the win over the Renegades (6-7/45-34), who had their six game winning streak halted.
Hudson Valley got a run i the first inning to open the scoring. After Alexander Vargas reached on an error, he stole third and scored on a groundout by Agustin Ramirez to open the scoring.
The game remained 1-0 until the bottom of the fourth when Gabriel Rincones Jr. hit a 2-run homer to put the BlueClaws up 2-1. It was his second home run of his BlueClaws career and the series. Rincones Jr. began the season with Clearwater, where he hit five before joining Jersey Shore on June 13th.
Marcus Lee Sang added a three-run home run to left-centerfield later in the inning, his seventh of the year. Leandro Pineda followed him with a solo shot to make it 6-1. It was the first time this year that the BlueClaws have hit back to back homers. Rixon Wingrove joined the party in the fifth with his 13th home run of the season, and second in as many nights.
Anthony Quirion added an RBI double in the bottom of the eighth.
Starter Rafael Marcano (4-5) went five innings and allowed just one unearned run in earning his fourth win of the year. Zach Messinger (1-6) too the loss, allowing seven runs, six earned, in 5.1 innings.
The teams continue their series on Saturday night at 7:05 pm.
