Five Claws Combine on 5-Hit Shutout in 1-0 Sunday Win at Wilmington
WILMINGTON, DE - It was indeed a Happy Father's Day for the BlueClaws, who had five pitchers combine on a 5-hit shutout in a 1-0 win over Wilmington at Frawley Stadium. The win gave the BlueClaws four wins in the six game series with the Blue Rocks.

Rafael Marcano (3-4) earned the win with five scoreless innings. He was followed by four relievers who threw one inning each: Cam Wynne, Jason Ruffcorn, Tommy McCollum,and Jordi Maritnez. Maritnez earned his third save of the season.
The only run of the game came in the top of the 5th when Wilfredo Flores singled home Jared Carr with what turned out to be the game's only run. Carr had singled and advanced to second base on a wild pitch.
Jersey Shore (33-29) went 4-2 in Wilmington (28-34) this week and leads the season series 7-5.
Carr, Hao-Yu Lee, Marcus Lee Sang, Nick Ward, and Flores had hits for the BlueClaws.
The BlueClaws return home on Tuesday to take on the Rome Braves.
