CHATTANOOGA, TN -- The Braves began a five-game series at AT&T Field Monday night with a 3-2 loss against the top team in the Southern League, the Chattanooga Lookouts.
The game was scoreless through three innings before Chattanooga (40-16, 82-44) got on the board in the bottom of the fourth. Nick Gordon singled to lead off the inning, advanced to second and then to third on wild pitches. He then scored on a sacrifice fly by Lamonte Wade, giving the Lookouts a 1-0 advantage.
Mississippi (16-38, 50-74) tied the game in the sixth with Tyler Neslony scoring on a line drive by Austin Riley after reaching on a hit-by-pitch and advancing to second on a sacrifice bunt by Dylan Moore.
Travis Demeritte walked to lead off the seventh and moved to second on Joe Odom's sacrifice bunt. Connor Lien later singled to left, plating Demeritte and giving the Braves a 2-1 lead.

That lead by the Braves was short lived as the Lookouts put up two runs in the bottom half of the frame. Edgar Corcino and Wade hit back-to-back singles to begin the inning. Corcino then scored when Jonathan Rodriguez hit into a fielder's choice throwing error to tie the game at two. After a ground out, Rodriguez scored on T.J.
