Brock Rodden Named 2026 Pacific Coast League All-Star

TACOMA, WA (September 26, 2026) — The Tacoma Rainiers saw many standout performances in 2026, but it was Brock Rodden’s career year that earned him Pacific Coast League All-Star honors, as announced by Minor League Baseball on Saturday night.
Rodden, ranked the Mariners’ No. 19 prospect by MLB Pipeline, set career-highs in home runs and RBI in 2026. The switch-hitter played 92 games with the Rainiers, batting .262 with 22 doubles, three triples, 19 homers, driving in a career-best 65 and stealing eight bases. Rodden slugged .499 with Tacoma, good for the seventh-best slugging percentage in the Pacific Coast League, ranking eighth with his 19 home runs. He also saw action at five different defensive positions, tied for the most on the roster with Ryan Bliss. The 26-year-old was one of three Pacific Coast League hitters with at least 20 doubles, 19 home runs and under 100 strikeouts.
Rodden’s contract was selected by Seattle on August 14, making his Major League debut that day at Houston, going 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI. In 30 games with the Mariners, Rodden hit .197 with three doubles, one triple and four RBI.
This marks the second All-Star nod of Rodden’s career, having earned Northwest League All-Star honors in 2024 with High-A Everett.
The Tacoma Rainiers open the 2027 season on Friday, March 26, against the Las Vegas Aviators.
