BILOXI, MS – Minor League Baseball announced that Blake Burke, Jesús Made, Josh Adamczewski and Andrew Fischer have been named to the 2026 Southern League All-Star Team. Blake Burke was named the Southern League Most Valuable Player, becoming the third Shucker to win the award and the first since Jakson Reetz in 2022. Jesús Made was also named the league’s Top MLB Prospect and an All-Star at shortstop. Josh Adamczewski wad named an All-Star in left field, and Andrew Fischer was named an All-Star at third base. The four All-Star selections tie the franchise record, set in 2023.
Burke, the Brewers No. 12 prospect by Baseball America, finished the season among the Southern League leaders in average (1st, .285), slugging percentage (1st, .603), OPS (1st, .970), home runs (T-1st, 30), extra-base hits (2nd, 57), RBI (T-3rd, 88), doubles (8th, 25) and on-base percentage (9th, .367). Burke set the Shuckers single-season record for home runs (30) and OPS (.970) and also set the franchise’s career home run record with 41. Burke became the 1st Southern League player to record a 30-home-run season since Adam Brett Walker in 2015 and was the fastest Double-A player to 30 in a season since at least 2005, needing 88 games to reach the mark. Burke helped the Shuckers to a franchise-record-setting 178 home runs in 2026, shattering the previous record of 154, set in 2022.
Made, the consensus top overall prospect by MLB Pipeline and Baseball America, finished his season with a .271/.344/.430 slash line, 14 home runs, 91 RBI and 37 stolen bases. His 91 RBI marked the most by a Shucker in a single season, breaking the previous record of 90, set by Jackson Chourio in 2023. Made finished among the league leaders in RBI (T-1st, 91), hits (2nd, 133), triples (T-2nd, 6), stolen bases (T-7th, 37), extra-base hits (T-7th, 44), average (8th, .271), doubles (9th, 24) and walks (T-9th, 57). Made became the only teenager in Double-A and Triple-A since 2005 to record 5+ hits, 2+ home runs and 7+ RBI in a game, achieving the feat on Friday, July 31, against Montgomery. Made also helped the Shuckers set a new single-season franchise record with 253 stolen bases.
Fischer, the 2026 Minor League home run leader, earned All-Star honors after a .254/.389/.637 slash line, a 1.026 OPS, 28 home runs and 64 RBI in 72 games. Fischer finished his season with 48 home runs between High-A and Double-A, the 5th-most home runs by a minor league player in the Modern Era (since the 1963 reorganization), the most by a player this century and the most by a minor league player since 1982. Fischer also became the first Brewers farmhand to lead Minor League Baseball in home runs since Bill Foley (34) in 1978 with the Class-A Burlington Bees of the Midwest League. After being promoted to Double-A on June 15, Fischer was among the Double-A leaders in home runs (1st, 28), OPS (3rd, 1.026), slugging percentage (4th, .637) and extra-base hits (T-5th, 37).
Adamczewski, the No. 88 overall prospect by Baseball America and the third-ranked prospect in the Brewers organization, appeared in 66 games after being promoted from High-A Wisconsin and recorded a .278/.382/.465 slash line, an .837 OPS, 9 home runs, 8 stolen bases and 26 extra-base hits. Adamczewski stormed into Double-A with hits in each of his first 12 games (June 17, 2026-July 1, 2026) with the Shuckers, the longest streak by a Shucker this season.
