Cardinals drop doubleheader vs. Jupiter

With two opportunities to come away with a win on Saturday, Palm Beach dropped both games to Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium roomate and rival Jupiter Hammerheads.
In the opening game, Jupiter raced out to an early 6-0 lead after two innings played. Palm Beach start Diego Cordero had the shortest outing of his career throwing just 1 2/3 innings with three of thise six runs charged to him. 
The Cardinals were unable to even come close to that defecit only recording three hits all game and going 0-4 with runners in scoring position in the eventual 8-0 loss.
Infield Zack Gahagan who was on the bench as a reserve got into the game as an infamous position player pitching. He struck out a batter in his inning on the mound and went 1-2-3 putting his career ERA at a perfect 0.00.
In game two, Palm Beach was first on the board putting up a two spot in the second couretsy of Cole Krueter's first career home run. 
It was a short lived lead as the Hammerheads evened up the score in the next half inning. The opposition then put up two more runs in the fifth to take a 4-2 lead. 
For the second straight day, Cardinals' infielder Nolan Gorman hit a home run to cut the defecit to 4-3 in the sixth inning. He would be the last Palm Beach hitter to reach base the rest of the night in an eventual 4-3 loss. 
Out of the bullpen, Cole Aker did not allow an earned run in his two innings on the mound before C.J. Saylor tossed a scoreless seventh, striking out two.
