- Tanner Franklin tossed 5.1 innings, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks. He earned his first Double-A victory thanks to the performance.
- Chen-Wei Lin picked up his first career save after pitching 3.2 innings.
- Jack Gurevitch exploded for five RBI with a pair of two-run homers and an RBI double.
- Jesús Báez launched a three-run shot, doubled twice and had four RBI.
- The Cardinals have won eight straight games, with their magic number down to eight with a Wichita loss.
