Cellucci’s Debut Marks 10 Fisher Cats to Reach Majors in 2026

Nine of this year's 10 debuts were with Toronto, most in a single season since 2018

MANCHESTER, NH – Left-handed pitcher Brendan Cellucci made his Blue Jays debut on September 15 in Toronto and became the 10th Fisher Cats player to make their MLB debut in 2026. Nine former Fisher Cats players made their MLB debut with Toronto in 2026, the most in a single season

MANCHESTER, NH – Left-handed pitcher Brendan Cellucci made his Blue Jays debut on September 15 in Toronto and became the 10th Fisher Cats player to make their MLB debut in 2026. Nine former Fisher Cats players made their MLB debut with Toronto in 2026, the most in a single season since 12 former Fisher Cats debuted with the Blue Jays in 2018.

202 players both reached the MLB and played for the Fisher Cats – 183 were MLB debuts.

Here are all of the former Fisher Cats players to reach the majors in 2026:

  • LHP Kendry Rojas (MIN, 4/22 @ NYM)

  • OF Yohendrick Piñango (TOR, 4/26 vs. CLE)

  • LHP Adam Macko (TOR, 5/18 @ NYY)

  • INF Charles McAdoo (TOR, 5/29 @ BAL)

  • RHP Hayden Juenger (TOR, 5/31 @ BAL)

  • RHP Chad Dallas (TOR, 6/4 @ ATL)

  • INF Sean Keys (TOR, 6/27 vs. TEX)

  • RHP CJ Van Eyk (TOR, 7/17 vs. CWS)

  • LHP Ricky Tiedemann (TOR, 8/15 vs. NYY)

  • LHP Brendan Cellucci (TOR, 9/15 vs. DET)

Cellucci, a 12th round selection by Boston in 2019, was released in June 2025 after reaching Triple-A Worcester. Prior to signing with Toronto, Cellucci finished 2025 with the York Revolution, a member of the independent Atlantic League. Cellucci also signed with Criollos de Caguas of the Puerto Rican Winter League before breaking camp with Double-A New Hampshire in 2026.
