Andres Chaparro blasted a 403 foot homer in the fourth to break the scoreless tie. It was his twelfth of the season and his first since May 17th.
In the sixth, Chaparro smoked another long ball this time the opposite way for a 2-0 advantage. It was the second time this season he has homered in two consecutive at-bats.

Randy Vasquez (W, 2-7) pitched five and a third shutout innings to open for SWB. He allowed just three hits and three walks with five strikeouts. Aaron McGarity inherited a runner and an out in the sixth, but ended the frame scoreless. He took the seventh clean. DJ Snelten pitched a 1-2-3 inning and left with two runners on in the ninth. Matt Bowman (S, 3) took over to record the final outs.
Paxton Schultz tossed a quality start allowing just two runs in six innings. He let up eight hits and one walk. Joe Jackson and Yosver Zulueta each tossed a quiet frame.
The two teams match up tomorrow night with a 6:35PM first pitch.
