SALISBURY, MD: RHP Chase Allsup has been named the Carolina League Pitcher of the Week after a masterful start on Thursday, April 10, against the Fayetteville Woodpeckers. Allsup tossed five innings on the mound in his second career start and allowed no runs on one hit while striking out ten batters. His effort on the mound helped the Shorebirds sweep Thursday’s doubleheader against Fayetteville. He was the first Delmarva starting pitcher to earn a winning decision this season in the 5-0 victory.
The Orioles’ 4th round pick from 2024 will take the mound next Thursday, April 17, against the Carolina Mudcats.
