Now, we take a look at pitcher Chase Silseth.
The Angels' 2021 11th round pick, Silseth, is a favorite of many in the prospect scene. The New Mexico product made a name for himself pitching against Kumar Rocker and neutralizing the Vandy lineup.
He has a big fastball that runs up to 98mph, but his best pitches are his secondary ones, a swing and miss curve, a tight slider, and a splitter with good depth. Silseth has a great chance to be a starter with his 4-pitch mix. Look for him to be back with the Trash Pandas again this season, but with better results.
The 2022 Trash Pandas campaign gets under way on the road against the Birmingham Barons on April 8th, followed by the home opener at Toyota Field on April 12th against Pensacola. Tickets are still available for opening week, and can be purchased here.
