In his best start of the season, Clark threw six innings of shutout baseball, giving up just two hits and allowing four total baserunners. He also struck out six wins.
Aside from giving up a run in the ninth inning, McKinley earned the save in his first appearance with the Hot Rods this season. The 23-year-old righty gave up just one hit in three innings while striking out three.
Clark and McKinley combined to give up just three hits.
Offensively, the Hot Rods scored one run in each of the first four innings of the game to take control.

The homer from Tenerowicz was his second in as many days. He now is tied for the team-lead with six roundtrippers.

With the win, Bowling Green notched their third straight victory. They have won 5 of their last 6 games overall and have won two straight road games for the first time since late April at Lansing.
