LANCASTER, Calif. - The JetHawks used a pair of timely hits to down Rancho Cucamonga, 11-7, Tuesday night at The Hangar. Willie Abreu and Alan Trejo combined to drive in six of Lancaster's runs with two outs in the contest.

LANCASTER, Calif. - The JetHawks used a pair of timely hits to down Rancho Cucamonga, 11-7, Tuesday night at The Hangar. Willie Abreu and Alan Trejo combined to drive in six of Lancaster's runs with two outs in the contest.

Lancaster (7-6) was down by a pair in the third inning when Abreu came through. With two outs and two on, the outfielder hammered his third home run of the year to put the JetHawks up, 3-2.
Rancho Cucamonga (6-7) answered back, taking a two-run lead in the top of the sixth inning. This time, it was Alan Trejo who came through for the JetHawks. With the bases loaded and two outs, Trejo drilled a three-run double to right field and Lancaster led the rest of the way.
Salvador Justo (1-0) picked up the win in relief, allowing just one hit over two innings of work. Jeremiah Muhammad (0-1) left with the bases loaded in the sixth before Trejo's double.
Lancaster added three runs in the seventh inning to seal the victory. The JetHawks have not had a losing record through 13 games this season.
The win sets up a rubber match Wednesday night in the series finale. Brandon Gold (2-0) goes for his third win opposite Rancho's Tony Gonsolin (0-0). First pitch from The Hangar is 6:35 pm.
