JP Party Dragon is a new BlueClaws Charities Community Partner and we speak here to one of their directors, Tom Nuara.

Tell us a bit about the organization: 
We're a 501c3 non-profit who has been around for three years. It's run by me and Justin Greco and Josh Avilleira. We stand out because of March 1st we've raised over $400,000 in cash and goods without taking an penny for salary or compensation.
How did the organization get started?
We got started with after seeing how much money the Relay for Life takes in and uses for things other than cancer research.
What kinds of groups do you support?
Each month we raise money for a different cause (breast cancer, prostate cancer, back to school, toys, autism). We do thank you cards for the veterans. Jeans for battered women's shelters.
How do you raise money?
We fundraise mostly at Shut Up and Eat, a restaurant. We use social media. And we also do Comedy for a Cause, every two or three months we do a stand-up comedy event and we've had some pretty big stars that have done these like Brad Williams (OCC in October), Vinnie Brand, Chris Johnson (who opens for the Impractical Jokers), and Jim Florentine (Howard Johnson).
