The Winston-Salem Dash added to their organization Thursday, finalizing their broadcast team before the season opener Tuesday.

Luke Hallett will serve as the Broadcast and Media Relations Coordinator for the Dash, as well as the team’s lead broadcaster for the 2021 season. Hallett will team up with Amanda Weaver, the club’s Marketing and Social Media Coordinator, to bring Dash fans The Dash of Everything podcast, where the two will discuss the Dash season, interview exclusive guests, and give Dash fans an inside look at the organization.

Hallett, in his first full season with Winston-Salem, was hired as the Broadcast and Media Relations Assistant prior to the 2020 season that was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hallett, a Winston-Salem resident and Indiana University graduate, acts as a studio host for Learfield IMG College, where he anchors and produces radio broadcasts for Western Kentucky University, while appearing on over 15 other Division I properties. In addition, Hallett broadcast for both High Point University and UNCG, serving as the voice of High Point women’s basketball.

Rounding out the broadcast team is Andrew Murphy, who joins the Dash as the Broadcast and Media Relations Assistant. Murphy, a 2020 graduate of the University of Kentucky, spent two seasons with the Lexington Legends (formerly Low-A, Royals) before joining the UK baseball broadcast team this spring. Murphy also spent a summer with the Duluth Huskies of the Northwoods League, broadcasting each game on either radio or television.

All home games can be heard on wsdash.com/broadcast, as well as streamed on MiLB.TV.
