Tigers' 24th-ranked prospect Joey Wentz dominated for four innings and top Rockies prospect Zac Veen led with his bat and speed once again in the nightcap at Chase Field. Wentz was nearly untouchable, striking out eight across four one-hit innings in the seven-inning contest. All the Rafters’ offense came in the fourth, when Veen and No. 3 D-backs prospect Jordan Lawlar laced consecutive two-run doubles to continue red-hot stretches. Veen is hitting .500 with a 1.292 OPS through eight Fall League games, while Lawlar sports a 1.167 OPS thus far on the developmental circuit.
