Orioles farmhand Noah Denoyer was brilliant over five scoreless innings to outduel J.T. Ginn and Cal Conley’s two-run triple proved the difference as the Scorpions blanked the Solar Sox in seven innings. Ginn, the A's ninth-ranked prospect, struck out four across four one-hit innings of his own. Though he settled for a no-decision, it was the latest impressive effort from Ginn, who has struck out 12 and pitched to a 2.25 ERA in 12 innings across four AFL starts. Denoyer, a 24-year-old righty, struck out four and held the Sox to one hit over five frames, working around four walks to keep Mesa off the board. The game-breaking three-bagger from Conley, the Braves' 12th-ranked prospect, came in the fifth off losing pitcher and Yankees farmhand Yorlin Calderon. More »

Robert Perez Jr. is headed for the AFL Home Run Derby, and he got some practice in during the Javelinas' latest win. The Mariners' 21st-ranked prospect clubbed his third home run of the Fall League, a two-run shot that traveled an estimated 434 feet. Perez also walked twice to reach in all three plate appearances, and Luke Rittner and Tirso Ornelas also went deep for the Javelinas. Rittner, a Mets farmhand, followed Perez's second-inning homer with a solo shot two batters later and Ornelas (Padres No. 18) added a solo jack of his own in the fifth. The offense was more than enough to back winning pitcher Mike Vasil, the Mets' 11th-ranked prospect, who logged three scoreless innings with five strikeouts. More »

The Desert Dogs' lineup tagged Pirates top-ranked pitching prospect Quinn Priester for six runs. Brewers catching prospect Zavier Warren led the way with two hits and four RBIs, including a two-run triple during Glendale’s seven-run fifth inning. Reds second-ranked prospect Noelvi Marte and Twins farmhand Alex Isola added run-scoring doubles in the fourth.
