Dayton Dragons Finish #1 in Minor League Baseball Attendance in 2026

Dayton, Ohio—The Dayton Dragons finished the 2026 season ranked as the #1 team in the country in attendance average per home date among the 120 teams across all levels of Minor League Baseball™ (MiLB™).

The Dragons finished the year with a per-game attendance average of 7,863 per home date (65 home openings). This was the fifth straight year that the Dragons have finished among the top three across all levels of Minor League Baseball.

The Dragons full-season attendance total of 511,123 ranked fourth among all Minor League teams (note that High-A teams have fewer home dates than Triple-A and Double-A teams; Triple-A teams have 75 scheduled home dates; Double-A teams have 69, and High-A/Single-A teams have 66).

The Dragons finished first among the 60 Class-A teams in professional baseball for the 26th consecutive season (every year of the Dragons existence).

The Dragons finished #1 among all teams below the Triple-A level (Single-A and Double-A) for the 20th straight season. There are 90 teams below the Triple-A level in professional baseball.

Additionally, the Dragons also hosted many other events at Day Air Ballpark in 2026 including high school baseball games featuring local schools, college baseball featuring the University of Dayton and Wright State University, 5k run/walk, beer fest, charity walks, and movie nights. This winter, Day Air Ballpark will host the second year of Deck the Diamond, a holiday lights show and walk-through themed event. The 2026 season also marked the opening of the South Dayton Toyota Diamond Club at Day Air Ballpark, an indoor event and catering location for groups of up to 225 people.

The Dragons are owned and operated by Diamond Baseball Holdings.
