Springfield, MO -Joe DeCarlo crushed a pair of key homers, Joey Curletta mashed a grand slam and Chase De Jong delivered a strong start as the Arkansas Travelers blasted past the Springfield Cardinals, 12-4 on Sunday afternoon. DeCarlo finished the day 3-5 with two homers and three runs batted in.

Springfield, MO -Joe DeCarlo crushed a pair of key homers, Joey Curletta mashed a grand slam and Chase De Jong delivered a strong start as the Arkansas Travelers blasted past the Springfield Cardinals, 12-4 on Sunday afternoon. DeCarlo finished the day 3-5 with two homers and three runs batted in. It was the fourth multi-homerun game of his career. De Jong worked into the seventh inning for the third consecutive start retiring 11 straight Cardinals at one point and earned his second win of the season. It was the highest scoring output of the year for the Travs and snapped a three game slide. Springfield saw their five game overall winning streak and eight game home winning streaks come to an end.
