Starters
As we entered the tenth inning scoreless for the second time in the series,
Not enough can be said about how good Valera was defensively at shortstop all night. He was on the front end of six 6-3 groundouts in the final five innings and made a circus catch to end the ballgame.
The Loons have now won five in a row and head back to the mitten state to continue their current six-game road trip against the West Michigan Whitecaps (Tigers). First pitch on Saturday night is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. EDT.
