Tulsa’s Devin Mann has been named the Double-A Central Player of the Month for September. The announcement was made today by Minor League Baseball.

In 17 games in September, Mann hit .323 with a league-leading 8 home runs. He finished with 17 runs batted in, second-most in the league, while also leading all Double-A Central batters with 49 total bases and a .790 slugging percentage. He had an OPS of 1.176, the third-best mark in the league.

It is the second straight month that a Drillers player has won the honor. Miguel Vargas was named the league’s August Hitter of the Month.

Corpus Christi right-hander Angel Macuare was the September Pitcher of the Month in Double-A Central after going 3-0 with a 1.13 ERA in three starts.
