Diablos Rojos: Academia de Beisbol Alfredo Harp Helú reabre sus puertas

Daniel Fernández, Subgerente de Desarrollo Deportivo de la Academia, así como su staff y el personal de la Academia, fueron los encargados de recibir a los jóvenes peloteros que reportaron el fin de semana anterior, quienes luego de cumplir satisfactoriamente con los protocolos de seguridad establecidos, pudieron arrancar formalmente con el programa de trabajo.
“Estamos muy motivados y agradecidos con la familia Harp por estar de regreso en la Academia. Llegamos con un gran proyecto en el que buscamos hacer algo para innovar en cosas que le permitan a los jóvenes tener un desarrollo más productivo”, comentó Fernández.
La Generación 2022 de alumnos de la Academia cuenta con 20 jugadores de campo y 24 lanzadores, teniendo un promedio de 15 años de edad. En este grupo hay peloteros de 17 estados de la República Mexicana.
El inicio del Curso 2022 de la ‘Academia de Beisbol Alfredo Harp Helú’ tiene un significado especial ya que se convierte en la reapertura de un curso anual completo, luego de que se tuvieron que suspender las actividades del 2020 y se presentó un curso parcial en el 2021.
“No ha sido fácil lo que se ha vivido en los últimos años con todas las restricciones que hemos pasado y con los jóvenes en casa preparándose como han podido, pero aun así, en su mayoría (los jóvenes) se ven bien, son muchachos que están conscientes de su situación, de qué es lo que quieren en el beisbol y estamos para darles seguimiento a lo que buscan. Sabemos que ellos van a mejorar y estarán por encima de lo que han mostrado hasta el momento”, continuó.
En el roster del Curso 2022 hay jugadores de 13 a 17 años de edad y se cuenta con cinco peloteros que tuvieron actividad en la Liga Invernal Mexicana (LIM): Yael Romero, Daniel Sierra, Ángel Arredondo, Johan Aguilar y Máximo Rodríguez.
Al ser el inicio de un nuevo curso, pero todavía bajo un estilo de vida restringido, el plan de trabajo al arranque está enfocado en temas de acondicionamiento físico para entrar posteriormente al programa que ya está enfocado en áreas de juego como bateo, fildeo y pitcheo.
