August 6, 2026 — EVERETT, Wash.: The Everett AquaSox earned their second victory of the six-game series against the Vancouver Canadians on Thursday night at Everett Memorial Stadium, sneaking by 4-3 in front of 1,215 fans on Coors Light Throwback Thursday.
AquaSox starting pitcher Taylor Dollard began the game by throwing three no-hit innings, allowing his first hit in the top of the fourth frame as the Canadians’ Peyton Williams lined a solo home run to the Paine Field Home Run Porch in right field. Vancouver’s lead was short lived, though, as Everett brought home a pair of runs in the bottom half of the frame to jump ahead. Ricardo Cova doubled and later scored on Carlos Jimenez’s sacrifice fly, and Brandon Eike smashed his Northwest League-best 22nd long ball of the season.

Furthering the Frogs’ lead to 3-1 in the bottom of the fifth was Axel Sanchez, who crushed his sixth home run of the 2026 campaign. Aiden Taurek provided the AquaSox an insurance run in the next frame, hammering an RBI triple off of the center field wall to score Jimenez.

Dollard departed upon the conclusion of the seventh inning, allowing just one run and two hits during his outing. The right-hander from Sherman Oaks, California, also struck out three batters before turning the ball over to Christian Little, who struck out two in one scoreless inning of work.
Williams delivered his second solo home run of the game during the top of the ninth, reducing the Frogs’ lead down to two runs. Ryan Sprock singled and Gable Mitchell doubled to place pressure on the basepaths with no outs, allowing Austin Smith to bring his team within a run by hitting an RBI groundout. However, AquaSox pitcher Casey Hintz was able to escape the jam, retiring Vancouver’s Bryce Chance for the final out of the game to lock down the one-run Everett victory.
