Dragons Announced Roster Changes

Roxby Promoted to Chattanooga

The Dayton Dragons, in conjunction with the Cincinnati Reds, announced the following roster changes today: Right-handed pitcher Braxton Roxby has been promoted from Dayton to Chattanooga (Double-A). Right-handed pitcher Jesse Stallings has been released. Right-handed pitcher Vin Timpanelli and catcher Garrett Wolforth have been promoted to Dayton from Daytona (Low-A).

The Dayton Dragons, in conjunction with the Cincinnati Reds, announced the following roster changes today:

Right-handed pitcher Braxton Roxby has been promoted from Dayton to Chattanooga (Double-A).

Right-handed pitcher Jesse Stallings has been released.

Right-handed pitcher Vin Timpanelli and catcher Garrett Wolforth have been promoted to Dayton from Daytona (Low-A).

Roxby appeared in 21 games out of the Dayton bullpen. He posted an earned run average of 1.30 with five saves and a record of 2-2.

Stallings appeared in five games in relief, going 0-0 with a 4.50 ERA in six innings.

Timpanelli appeared in 20 games with Daytona, all as a reliever, posting an ERA of 1.82 with a league-leading nine saves and a record of 0-1. He allowed just seven hits in 24.2 innings and struck out 41. Opponents batted just .089 against him.

Wolforth appeared in 48 games at Daytona, batting .244 with five home runs, 27 runs batted in, 11 doubles, and four triples. He is a catcher who has also started games over his two seasons in professional baseball at first base, third base, and all three outfield positions.

The Dragons roster is at 29 players, one below the High-A Central League limit.
