Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Beloit Snappers (affiliate of the Oakland Athletics) in the second game of a three-game series. This is the second of 12 consecutive games for the Dragons against West Division opponents and game two of a six-game Wisconsin road trip.
Streaks: Dayton has won five straight games while Beloit has lost the last two after winning six straight.
Standings: The Dragons are in first place in the East Division of the Midwest League, one game ahead of South Bend and West Michigan.
Best Aprils: The Dragons enjoyed their fifth best month of April in the team's 18-year history in 2017, going 15-9. Their best record in April came in 2007 when they went 16-4. Other strong Aprils included 13-7 in 2000; and 16-9 in both 2001 and 2014.
