Edgeworth, Boswell and Linkous Named to NWL Year-End All Star Team

Boise, ID: The Boise Hawks, Northwest League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, are proud to announce 2B Bret Boswell, 3B Danny Edgeworth and OF Steven Linkous have been named to the Northwest League Year-End All Star Team.
"Congratulations to Bret, Danny and Steven," said Bob Flannery, Hawks' General Manager. "What a great accomplishment to be recognized as a Year-End All Star. We hope they keep climbing through the minor leagues and reach their ultimate goals in Major League Baseball."
Boswell, 22, was a 2017 8th round pick for the Rockies from University of Texas. In 54 games with the Hawks (through September 1st), Bret has hit .293 with 11 home runs and 42 runs batted in. He was named Northwest League Player of the Week for the week of August 7 to August 13.
Edgeworth, 22, was a 2017 23rd round pick for the Rockies from Mercer University. In 59 games with the Hawks (through September 1st), Danny has hit .304 with 14 doubles and 46 runs batted in. He was named Northwest League Player of the Week for the week of August 14 to August 20.
Linkous, 22, was a 2016 22nd round pick for the Rockies from UNC-Wilmington and a 2017 Northwest League All Star. In 61 games with the Hawks (through September 1st), Steven has hit .298 with 48 runs scored and is currently tied with Garrett Hampson (2016) and Davy Gregg (2005) for the Hawks single season stolen base record (36).
