Elijah Dunham smacked a pair of home runs to power the Saguaros victory. The 24th-ranked Yankees prospect finished 3-for-4 with four RBIs. Dunham crushed a 3-2 offering 435 feet at 109 mph to right-center field for a solo shot in the first inning. Four frames later, the left-handed swinger turned on another fastball, sending it 424 feet at 103 mph to right. Dunham also notched a base hit through the right side of the infield in the third. The 23-year-old posted a .262/.362/.463 slash line with 13 dingers over 93 games in the regular season. He caught fire in September, hitting .283 with three homers in 15 games over the season’s final month and carried that momentum to Arizona, where he is batting .344 with six RBIs though nine games.

Owen White (TEX 29) scattered three hits and two walks while striking out five over five scoreless innings to lower his Fall League ERA to 1.20. He's fanned 14 strikeouts in three starts (15 innings). No. 19 Nationals prospect Jackson Cluff collected a pair of hits – including a double – walked and scored a pair of runs. More »

Mesa 12, Glendale 0
With four scoreless frames, Ryan Jensen set the tone for the Solar Sox rout. The 15th-ranked Cubs prospect worked around a pair of knocks and struck out five. He exited after tossing 33 of his 46 pitches for strikes. The 23-year-old posted a .196 average against with 90 strikeouts over 80 innings across two levels of the Minors this season.

Caleb Kilian (CHC 14) twirled three one-hit frames with six punchouts in relief. JJ Bleday (MIA 5) paced Mesa’s 15-hit attack with three knocks, five RBIs and a pair of runs scored. The 23-year-old launched a two-run blast to right in the fourth, a bases-clearing double in the fifth and singled in the opening frame. A’s 12th-ranked prospect Logan Davidson also accounted for three hits, while Nelson Velazquez (CHC 29) hammered a 377-foot tater as part of a two-hit afternoon.

On the other side, Dodgers’ 30th-ranked prospect Carson Taylor accounted for two of the Desert Dogs’ five hits in the contest. More »

Salt River 3, Scottsdale 2
Hunter Bishop drove in both of the Rafters' runs while collecting a pair of knocks. The sixth-ranked Giants prospect was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the opening frame, lined an RBI single into center in the third and laced a double to lead off the sixth. The 23-year-old was limited to 16 games in 2021. Three games into the regular season, the Arizona State product severely injured his right (throwing) shoulder on a swing. He missed nearly three months and returned for less than three weeks before he was shut down.

For Salt River, Joey Wiemer continued his scorching run in the desert with a three-hit performance. The 23rd-ranked Brewers prospect notched base knocks in the first, second and fourth innings to bring his Fall League average up to .467 through nine games. The Rockies’ Ezequil Tovar (No. 11) supplied the offense – and the difference in the game – with a three-run homer in the second. The blast was the 20-year-old’s second of the campaign. More »
