(Reading, PA) — The Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, continue their two-week home stand Tuesday to take on the Hartford Yard Goats, Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. (Reading, PA) — The Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, continue their two-week home stand Tuesday to take on the Hartford Yard Goats, Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. The six-game series kicks off Tuesday at 7 p.m. and concludes Sunday.

Honor your loved ones on Tuesday with SU2C “Stand Up To Cancer” Fightin Cancer Night. Fightin Phils’ players will wear names on their jerseys during the game free with a group of 20 or more. The first 2,000 fans Wednesday will receive America’s Classic Ballpark 75th Anniversary commemorative cups courtesy of Celebrating Berks County Agriculture and the Preservation of 80,000 Acres of Farmland. Thursday and Friday night will feature firework shows while Saturday night is a Carpenter MEGA BLAST firework show — the largest in stadium history. Saturday’s celebrations also include Star Wars night. Close out the week with a Reading Hot Dogs Basketball Jersey courtesy of Berks Packing, sent out to the first 2,000 kids in attendance.

The Fightin Phils enter off a series split with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Toronto Blue Jays Double-A, where they took three-of-six games. Reading lost the opening two games by one run and then ripped off three straight wins. The Fightin Phils offense was led by Felix Reyes, who tallied a 1.420 OPS in the series.

Hartford is 32-31, tied for second in the Eastern League. The Yard Goats look to break a three-game skid when they enter FirstEnergy Stadium after losing their series against the Akron RubberDucks, Cleveland Guardians Double-A, 2-4 last week. Hartford won two of the first three games in the series. Catcher Bryant Betancourt blasted three home runs in five games and centerfielder Braiden Ward recorded six hits in 18 at-bats.

Top 30 Colorado Rockies prospects include No. 2 prospect Cole Carrigg, No. 8 Sean Sullivan, No. 13 Benny Montgomery, No. 18 Kyle Karros, No. 20 Welinton Herrera, No. 24 Jack Mahoney, No. 27 Dyan Jorge and No. 30 Connor Staine. Montgomery is their 2023 first-round pick Philadelphia Phillies No. 2 prospect Aidan Miller stars alongside No. 11 ranked Jean Cabrera, No. 15 Carson DeMartini and No. 25 Hendry Mendez.
