(Reading, PA) - The Fightin Phils (21-30) will open a six-game set against the Harrisburg Senators, (30-21) the Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals at FirstEnergy Stadium on Tuesday. This will be the Fightins first of two matchups against the Senators in 2024.

The Fightins return to FirstEnergy stadium after dropping five of six games to the Hartford Yard Goats on the road last week. Reading has performed vastly better at America’s Classic Ballpark than on the road this season. The Fightin Phils hold a 14-10 record at home, compared to just 7-20 on the road. The Fightins won in grand fashion on Saturday, as Robert Moore had two hits, two runs, two home runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI. It was a career-high five RBI for Moore, along with it being both the first grand slam and first multi-homer game of his career. On the mound, LHP Matt Osterberg had a stellar outing on Saturday, going six strong innings, allowed one run on nine hits, with no walks and seven strikeouts.

The Senators come to Reading after splitting a six-game series with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. They are in second place in the Eastern League Southwest standings. MLB No. 6 prospect, Dylan Crews will face the Fightins in this week's series. Crews, the Nats No. 2 prospect, is hitting .252 with 54 hits, 36 RBI and 12 stolen bases. He is tied for fifth in the Eastern League in RBI. As for pitching, RHP Brad Lord is 6-1 on the season and leads the Eastern League in ERA (1.60) and is tied for first in wins (6), and ranks fourth in WHIP (1.11).

RHP Noah Skirrow gets the start for Reading on Tuesday, and he will go opposite RHP Andry Lara for Harrisburg. Reading's starter, RHP Konnor Ash and RHP Michael Cuevas will match up on Wednesday. Thursday LHP Lachlan Wells will face LHP Andrew Alvarez, and LHP Matt Osterberg takes the mound Friday against RHP Brad Lord. On Saturday, RHP Robinson Pina gets the ball against RHP Kyle Luckham. In Sunday's series finale, RHP Andry Lara will face righty, Noah Skirrow.

Tuesday features a Fightin Phils T-Shirt giveaway for the first 2,000 adults, thanks to Berks County Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities Program. Wednesday is a Tribute to Farming: Farm Animal Experience, presented by Berks County Farmers Association and Steinmetz Family Farm. Thursday and Friday will showcase postgame fireworks. Thursday's show is presented by PA Career Link Berks County, and Friday's by Vertex Mechanical. Saturday is the season's first Carpenter MEGA Blast Fireworks Show, thanks to Diamond Credit Union. It will also be a Tribute to Peanuts and Charlie Brown's 50th Anniversary, as the Fightin Phils will wear special Peanuts Jerseys. The series ends Sunday with a Johan Rojas Bobble Head, thanks to Berks Packing, for the first 1,500 kids. Reading remains home from Tuesday, June 11 to Sunday, June 16, against the Portland Sea Dogs (Red Sox).
