The game was called after five innings due to inclement weather.

In his very first at-bat with the Fisher Cats since being received from Triple-A Buffalo, Jamie Ritchie knocked in two runs with a single into right field off Somerset starter Grey Fenter (1-1), driving in Leo Jimenez and Damiano Palmegiani to give New Hampshire (8-6) an early 2-0 lead.

PK Morris collected his first hit of the series with an RBI single up the middle past the drawn-in Somerset (7-7) infield to increase the lead 3-1 in the fourth.

Starting pitcher Adam Kloffenstein (1-1) pitched his best game of the season, going five innings, allowing only one run, one hit and one walk, while striking out eight, earning the win.
