Not every team has finalized its opening-round roster just yet, but here's a group of former Fisher Cats to look out for this postseason:
Yan Gomes (Cleveland Indians)
Gomes, the first Brazilian-born player to make the major leagues, was a member of the Fisher Cats 2011 Eastern League Championship Team. He hit .250 in 79 games with 13 home runs and 51 RBIs. In 105 appearances with the defending American League Champion Indians, he's batting .232 with 14 long balls and 56 runs driven in. The Blue Jays drafted Gomes in the 10th round of the 2009 draft, and traded him to Cleveland with OF Mike Aviles in exchange for RHP Esmil Rogers.
Adam Lind (Washington Nationals)
The 2006 Fisher Cat just wrapped up his first season with the Nationals, and hit .303 with 14 home runs and 59 RBIs in 116 games. During his season in New Hampshire, Lind hit .310 with 19 home runs and 71 RBIs. Lind was originally drafted by the Blue Jays in the third round of the 2004 draft, and spent nine seasons in Toronto before stints with Milwaukee (2015) and Seattle (2016).
Ronald Torreyes (New York Yankees)
The long and winding journey of Ronald Torreyes has taken him to the Yankees 2017 playoff roster. Originally signed out of Venezuela by the Reds in 2010, Torreyes would eventually be traded to the Cubs, traded to the Astros, signed by the Blue Jays (he played 15 games in New Hampshire in 2015), traded to the Dodgers and finally traded to the Yankees.

Jeff Hoffman (Colorado Rockies)
The Blue Jays took Hoffman with the 9th overall pick in the 2014 draft. After his first two starts with New Hampshire in 2015, Toronto dealt him to Colorado as part of the Troy Tulowitzki trade.
Despite a promising start to the season, the flamethrower has been inconsistent down the stretch, and sits on the bubble of the Rockies playoff roster.
Jake Marisnick (Houston Astros)
The Blue Jays third round pick in 2009 was in the midst of his best offensive season yet, until a mid-September thumb injury cut his regular season short.
As a minor leaguer, he made his way to New Hampshire for the second half of the 2012 season before being traded to Miami in a blockbuster deal.
Along with RHP Henderson Alvarez III, SS Yunel Escobar, SS Adeiny Hechavarría, C Jeff Mathis, RHP Anthony DeSclafani and LHP Justin Nicolino, Marisnick was sent south in exchange for SS Jose Reyes, RHP Josh Johnson, LHP Mark Buehrle, C John Buck and 2B Emilio Bonifácio. The Marlins would eventually trade Marisnick to Houston as part of a deal centered around RHP Jarred Cosart.
