MANCHESTER, N.H — The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, defeated the Binghamton Rumble Ponies on Friday night, winning 6-0 at Delta Dental Stadium to even the series two games apiece.

Starting pitcher Chad Dallas (1-0) dazzled in his Double-A debut since arriving on Tuesday from High-A Vancouver. The 22-year old threw a career-high seven innings, allowing no runs, two hits and two walks while striking out nine, picking up his first Double-A win of his career. It was the longest start by a Fisher Cat this season, matching Adam Kloffenstein’s seven inning start vs Hartford on April 28.

Damiano Palmegiani recorded his third multi-RBI game of the season with a three-RBI night, including a solo home run on top of the Samuel Adams Brewhouse to open the scoring in the first and a two-run single in the seventh. Palmegiani also extended his hit streak to six consecutive games and it was his fifth homer of the season.

Sebastian Espino drove in multiple RBIs for the first time in almost a month with a two-run single in the sixth. He has now collected a hit in nine of 12 games played in the month of May and has four RBIs in the series. Espino also recorded his fifth assist of the season after throwing out Jose Peroza at third trying to tag from second in the seventh.

Trevor Schwecke hit his second home run of the season in the second inning, which landed on top of the Samuel Adams Brewhouse.

Steward Berroa extended his on-base streak to ten consecutive games with a walk in the eighth.

The Fisher Cats continue the home stand against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies tomorrow at 6:35 pm. RHP Paxton Schultz (1-3, 3.90 ERA) will get the start for New Hampshire against RHP Luis Moreno (2-1, 6.67 ERA) for Binghamton.

Promotions for the week include Wizards & Wands Night with Atlas Fireworks on Saturday, Princesses at the Park and Kids Run the Bases Sunday, presented by the New Hampshire Liquor Commission Division of Enforcement, and a Youth Jersey Giveaway Sunday, courtesy of Delta Dental.
