MANCHESTER, N.H — The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, shut out the Harrisburg Senators for a second straight game on Saturday afternoon, winning 1-0 to win its third straight contest in front of a season-high crowd of 5,417 at Delta Dental Stadium.

The New Hampshire (12-13) pitching staff combined to punch out 13 Senator hitters while allowing just one hit. It’s the first time since 2019 where the Fisher Cats have recorded back-to-back shutouts and a one-hitter.

Sem Robberse received the start for the Fisher Cats and pitched six scoreless innings, allowing just one hit, no runs and one walk while striking out seven, one shy of his season-high. Robberse threw just 65 pitches on the day and it was his longest start of the season. It was also his second quality start at the Double-A level which have both come against Harrisburg.

New Hampshire has now tossed 22 straight scoreless frames dating back to the second game of Thursday’s doubleheader.

Will Robertson drove in the only run of the game with a sac-fly in the eighth to bring home Steward Berroa. Robertson now has three RBIs in his last two games against the Senators. All three RBIs have served as the go-ahead runs in the last two New Hampshire victories.

Leo Jimenez extended his on-base streak to 14 games with two hits on the afternoon. He has reached base in every game played and has collected a hit in 12 of 14 games this season.

Juan Nunez struck out the side in the seventh in his 2023 Fisher Cats debut since coming in from High-A Vancouver while Hagen Danner received his first Double-A win of his career with a scoreless eighth and two strikeouts. Troy Watson picked up his second save of the season with a scoreless ninth, his first save in three outings.

The Fisher Cats finish the home stand tomorrow against the Harrisburg Senators at 1:35 pm. RHP Michael Cuevas (1-0, 7.63 ERA) will get the start for Harrisburg against a pitcher to be determined for New Hampshire.

Promotions for Sunday include Sunday Funday presented by Ceasar Chimney Sweeps with Kids Run the Bases Postgame, sponsored by the New Hampshire Liquor Commission Division of Enforcement.
