MANCHESTER, N.H — The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, defeated the Reading Fightin’ Phils 6-2 at Delta Dental Stadium on Wednesday afternoon to win their fourth straight game.

Five of the six New Hampshire (24-22) runs were driven in via the long ball. Orelvis Martinez broke the scoreless tie in the sixth with a two-run line drive home run into the Samuel Adams Brewhouse in left field. It was Martinez’s 14th homer of the season and his 11th homer in the month of May.

In his Double-A debut, Rainer Nunez launched a three-run home run in the eighth inning to right field for his first Double-A hit and home run. Nunez now has four home runs on the season after hitting three with Vancouver before being promoted.

It’s the second consecutive game where a Fisher Cat has hit their first Double-A homer in their home debut at Delta Dental Stadium after Riley Tirotta hit his on Tuesday.

On the mound, Sem Robberse got the start and threw five scoreless innings, allowing three hits and no walks while striking out five, receiving a no-decision. It was the Blue Jays No. 7 prospect’s second scoreless start of the season and his first in four outings.

Right-handed reliever Alejandro Melean (2-1) picked up the win after 3.2 innings pitched of two run ball with two strikeouts, his longest outing of the year. Left-hander Mason Fluharty recorded the final two outs of the ninth in his home debut with the New Hampshire.
