Two of Albuquerque's home runs on the evening came off the bat of Ryan McMahon. The homers were McMahon's first two of the 2018 campaign. Over his last five games, McMahon is now 7-for-20 with two walks and five RBI.
Not to be outdone, Mike Tauchman also connected on two home runs. The long-balls for Tauchman were his fourth and fifth of the season for the Isotopes.
Adding to the power barrage was Tom Murphy, recording his team-leading 10th home run of the season.
On the mound, Antonio Senzatela improved to 2-0 on the season for Albuquerque. The right-hander surrendered three runs over his 5.0 innings on the hill. Senzatela walked one while striking out six.
Scott McGough, Scott Oberg and Jerry Vasto allowed one hit out of the bullpen to shut down the 51s over the ball game's final 4.0 frames.
After a league-wide off day on Wednesday, the Isotopes return to Isotopes Park to open an eight-game homestand against the Reno Aces and Salt Lake Bees. Jeff Hoffman is scheduled to make the start for Isotopes on Thursday. First pitch from Isotopes Park is set for 6:35 p.m.
