Four Claws Combine on One-Hitter in 1-0 Sunday Win at Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY - Four BlueClaws pitchers - Cade Obermueller, Camron Hill, Micah Ottenbreit, and Keegan Batka - combined on a one-hitter in a 1-0 BlueClaws win on Sunday in Brooklyn.

The game was scoreless into the bottom of the eighth inning when Romeli Espinosa singled home the game's only run with an infield hit.

Batka came on in the bottom of the eighth and got the last six outs. Micah Ottenbreit, who threw three scoreless innings, earned the win.

It was the first BlueClaws one hitter of the year and the first since September 4th last year, also against Brooklyn.

BlueClaws starter Cade Obermueller threw three scoreless and hitless innings in his second start of the week. Cam Hill threw a scoreless inning.

Scott Mudler had the other two BlueClaws hits in the win.

The BlueClaws return home on Tuesday to start a stretch of 12 games in 13 days with a series against Hudson Valley.
